2. Masstoleranz /  mass tolerance
Länge /length: +/- 10 mm Breite /width: +/- 10 mm Dicke /thickness: +/- 0,5 mm, jedoch bei Blockware / however, at block goods: +/- 2 mm Aufgrund der Zellstruktur kann die mechanische Bearbeitung zu geringfügigen Abweichungen der benannten Spezifikation führen. Because of the cell structure the mechanical processing can lead to slight variations of the designated specification.

Fehlerbehebung der Löcher und Lunker:

Das Problem der "Käselöcher" bei Verwendung als Sandwich-Zwischenlage kann leicht und kostengünstig behoben werden:

Die entsprechende Stelle in der großen Platte wird mittels Stanzeisen auf ein definiertes Maß gebracht. Dann wird aus einem Reststück - mit gleicher Stärke und gleichem Stanzeisen - eine Ronde ausgestochen und in die große Platte eingesetzt. Bei maschineller Weiterverarbeitung ist zu empfehlen, die Ronde mittels (dickflüssigem) Sekundenkleber und Aktivatorspray zu sichern.
 

Troubleshooting of holes and blowholes

The problem of "cheese holes" when used as sandwich interlayer can be easily and economically solved:
The corresponding position in the large plate is brought to a defined size using a punching tool. Then a blank is cut out of a remnant piece - of the same thickness and the same punch - and inserted into the large plate. For further machine processing it is recommended to secure the blank with (viscous) superglue and activator spray.

Ein Hinweis zur Anpassung der Produktbezeichnungen

Die Airex® PVC Schaumstoffe C 70.55 und C 70.75 wurden früher von MARICELL in Italien hergestellt. Heute fertigt die Firma Airex ihre PVC-Schaumstoffe unter Aufsicht in Asien.
Der bisherige Hersteller MARICELL produziert weiterhin die Original-PVC-Schaumstoffe in gewohnt hoher Qualität und bietet diese unter der Marke MYCELL™ an.

Dies bedeutet, daß MYCELL™-Schaumstoffe von Maricell insofern identisch sind mit den früher gelieferten AIREX®-Schaumstoffen.

AIREX® C 70.55 ist gelb – MYCELL™ 60 M ist ebenfalls gelb und entspricht quasi dem AIREX C 70.55
AIREX® C 70.75 ist grün – MYCELL™ 80 M ist ebenfalls grün und entspricht quasi dem AIREX C 70.75
 

About Airex® - MYCELL™
A note on the adaptation of the product designations

Airex® PVC foams C 70.55 and C 70.75 used to be manufactured by MARICELL in Italy. Today, the Airex company manufactures its PVC foams under supervision in Asia.
The previous manufacturer MARICELL continues to produce the original PVC foams in the usual high quality and offers them under the MYCELL™ brand.

This means that MYCELL™ foams from Maricell are in this respect identical to the AIREX® foams supplied earlier.

AIREX® C 70.55 is yellow - MYCELL™ 60 M is also yellow and is virtually the same as AIREX C 70.55.
AIREX® C 70.75 is green - MYCELL™ 80 M is also green and quasi corresponds to AIREX C 70.75
