The Epoxy Starter Kit MINI PLUS provides an extended range of basic materials and accessories for laminating, bonding and repair work in composite construction. It is particularly suitable for beginners working with epoxy resins, as well as for smaller projects, repairs and experimental applications.

The main component is the proven Epoxy Resin L with Hardener L, one of the most widely used laminating and bonding resin systems in the R&G product range. This low-viscosity, solvent-free and unfilled system provides good impregnation of glass, carbon and aramid fibres, good adhesion to numerous materials and low curing shrinkage. It contains neither nonylphenol nor DETA.

The resin system achieves high mechanical strength values comparable to those of laminating resin systems used in aircraft construction. It is suitable for manufacturing load-bearing composite components as well as for bonding and repairing various materials, including wood, metal and Styrofoam®.

The kit also includes 5-Minute Epoxy for quick bonding, assembly and fixing operations. The supplied 130 g/m² glass fabric tape allows small GRP laminates, local reinforcements and repairs to be carried out.

The processing accessories include high-quality flat brushes for even resin application, wooden mixing sticks and disposable mixing cups. The essential accessories for initial projects are therefore already included.

Processing

Epoxy Resin L + Hardener L is suitable for hand lay-up, pressure and vacuum impregnation, compression moulding and filament winding. Mix the components thoroughly at the specified mixing ratio and use within the stated pot life.
