Brass Threaded Inserts for CFRP and Lightweight Structures

These CNC-machined brass threaded inserts enable the creation of strong and durable threaded connections in CFRP tubes, plastic components, and other lightweight structures. They provide a stable, wear-resistant thread suitable for repeated assembly and disassembly.

Particularly in lightweight construction, the inserts allow the easy creation of threaded tube ends and attachment points. CFRP tubes can be securely connected to one another or fastened to CFRP plates, brackets, tabs, and other components.

The threaded inserts can be thermally installed into thermoplastics or permanently bonded into CFRP tubes, CFRP plates, and other composite semi-finished products using suitable epoxy adhesives. This makes it possible to create strong and reliable attachment points even in thin-walled lightweight structures.

Typical applications include drones and UAVs, robotics, model building, measurement and testing equipment, camera and film equipment, motorsports, automation systems, and lightweight frames and support structures.
