Professional reconditioning at the manufacturer’s facility
The scissors are completely disassembled, professionally sharpened and readjusted. Where applicable, the micro-serration is also reground.
Any replacement parts required will be charged separately following prior consultation.
Scope of the re-sharpening service
Incoming inspection
The condition of the scissors is assessed to determine whether professional reconditioning is still worthwhile.
Disassembly and cleaning
The scissors are disassembled and coarse contamination, such as resin residue, is removed.
Hollow grinding
The original grind pattern on the inner surfaces of the scissor halves is professionally restored.
Assembly
The scissor halves are reassembled. Worn screws and nuts are replaced where necessary.
Edge sharpening
The cutting edges are precisely reground to restore their full sharpness and cutting performance.
Micro-serration
Where applicable, the micro-serration is freshly ground into the scissors.
Action check
The scissor action is adjusted and checked to ensure that the scissors open and close smoothly and evenly.
Quality control
Final functional inspection and cutting test.
