Perforated bagging film for vacuum infusion. Suitable for polyester and epoxy resins.
This modified polyethylene film is easy to process and gives the component a silk-matt surface.
Suitable for the production of convex or concave components without strong beads, edges, and peaks (e.g. plates and tub-like shapes). Despite a good stretching ability, the vacuum bagging film is not elastic, such as a silicone sheet. At the same time, the stretching leads to permanent deformation, which is why the film can be used only once.
Over sharp edges and areas that span recesses, the film can tear under high pressure.
We do not recommend this film for very complex geometries, or we advise preliminary tests.
