Specially manufactured ST fabric for optical applications (VISUAL ASPECT)*.
Compared to the standard fabric of the same design, additional effort is made during the production of the VISUAL ASPECT variant to ensure that the fabric not only meets all requirements in terms of maximum strength, but also offers the most perfect visual appearance possible.

Additional note from the manufacturer for this fabric:
Our general tolerance for gaps is a maximum of 2.8 mm across the entire roll, for short sections (or at the very edges of the fabric) we allow up to 4.0 mm.

TeXtreme® - Lightweight Carbon Fabric

TeXtreme® Spread Tow Fabric (STF) increases the performance and reduces the weight of your composites as well as enhancing the surface finish making the composites aesthetically appealing. The material is pliable and easy to handle when forming and cutting. TeXtreme® is available in a variety of areal weight and fibre type configurations.

Storage:
The fabric should be stored in a dry and well ventilated place at room temperature (0 - 30 °C).
The fabric roll should be stored without load, i.e. the roll must be stored in a stand or in a suitable box so that the paper core can absorb the entire load. R&G guarantees a shelf life of two (2) years from the date of delivery to our customers, provided that the product has been transported, processed and stored in accordance with the specified requirements.

Delivery:
Textreme® fabrics are generally supplied with a liner film. This prevents the fabric layers from "sticking" together. The high quality of the fabric remains.

*VISUAL ASPECT is woven with tighter tolerances than the standard fabric in order to keep the gaps between the fibres as small as possible, which improves the appearance and makes the fabric the first choice for design applications. So if appearance is a priority, we recommend that you order VISUAL ASPECT instead of STANDARD. As the VISUAL ASPECT fabric is woven more tightly, it may be slightly heavier than the STANDARD version.
