Divinycell® H60 Grid Scored (1220 x 813 mm)

Divinycell® H60 Scored Grid features grooved incisions in the length and width of the rigid PVC foam sheet, extending almost through the entire thickness. This makes it malleable and flexible for use in curved shapes or similar applications.
A lightweight glass fibre fabric is used on the opposite side of the grooves to reinforce the sheet.

Key advantages:

  • Easy and robust to handle
  • Versatile
  • Load-bearing outer skins are easy to press under vacuum
  • Mouldable

Dimensions of the grid:
Grid dimension/centre-to-centre: 30 mm
Depth of groove: Sheet thickness minus approx. 2 mm
Width of groove: approx. 0.9 mm

Processing:
Vacuum pressing (conditionally suitable for vacuum infusion, in this case it is better to switch to Divinycell® H60 Grid Scored + Grooved (Q200))

Application:
Rotor blades, nacelles, fuselages, superstructures, tanks and much more.

General information about Divinycell® H:

Divinycell® H rigid PVC foam sheet offers excellent mechanical properties combined with low weight.

  • Low water absorption
  • Superior damage tolerance
  • Excellent thermal properties
  • Thermoformable
  • Fast and easy to process
  • Good chemical resistance
  • Excellent fatigue properties
  • Very low resin uptake
  • Good temperature resistance
  • Compatible with most common glues and resin systems

Divinycell® H is found to comply with

  • DNV rules for classification – Ships
  • DNV rules for classification – High speed and light craft
  • DNV class programme DNV-CP-0084 – Type approval – Sandwich core materials

---> DNV Approval

Application:
Divinycell® H
has a proven track record in virtually every application area where sandwich composites are employed, including the marine (leisure, military and commercial), land transportation, wind energy, civil engineering/infrastructure and general industrial markets.

Processing:
Continuous operating temperature is typically -200 ºC to +70 ºC. The foam can be used in sandwich structures, for outdoor exposure, with external skin temperatures up to +85 ºC.

Maximum processing temperature is dependent on time, pressure and process conditions.
