Application: Suitable e.g. for the production of a counter mould to simulate laminate thicknesses or sheet thicknesses (in the construction of sheet metal forming tools) and for numerous other applications in mold making.
At room temperature, the wax sheets conform very well to the mould surfaces, without any tendency to spring back.
The wax sheets are not self-releasing, a release agent is absolutely necessary for moulding. Due to their solvent content, wax release agents are not suitable. We recommend the use of PVA film release agent (Order No. 165110-x), to which a very small amount of washing-up liquid can be added to improve the wettability of the wax surface.
