Pultrusion is a continuous manufacturing process for fibre composite profiles (rods and tubes). In our pultrusion process we use continuous fibres such as carbon and glass rovings as the most important reinforcement. In the extrusion process, the fibres are impregnated with a thermosetting resin and drawn through a heated mould where the curing takes place. The fibres are predominantly oriented in the longitudinal direction. The finished profiles are sawn to length at the end of the line.
