DIABREAKER - the innovative venting system for the vacuum infusion process
The DIABREAKER is a vacuum line consisting of a polyester fleece filled with thermoplastic microspheres and laminated with a separating film. This construction encloses a spiral hose that maintains the vacuum over its entire length.
The DIABREAKER reduces resin consumption by slowing down the resin as soon as the flow front comes into contact with it, while at the same time keeping the resin in motion and ensuring an effective vacuum.
In addition, the DIABREAKER allows trapped air to escape, resulting in fully infused fibers. Thanks to the ELA20 release liner, the product can be easily removed from the component during the demolding process.
