PARTALL® Coverall Film Violet forms a water-soluble release film for epoxy, polyester and vinyl ester resins. Its violet colour provides excellent visual control during application, making it easier to achieve complete and uniform coverage of the mould surface. After demoulding, the film can be removed easily with water.

PARTALL® Coverall Film Violet is a water-based release coating based on polyvinyl alcohol (PVA). The distinctive violet colour makes it easy to see which areas have already been coated, helping to ensure complete coverage while reducing the risk of missed spots. This is particularly beneficial when working with large moulds or components with complex geometries.

Once dry, the coating forms a continuous release film that remains intact even on edges, corners and curved surfaces. After demoulding, it can simply be washed off with water and reapplied before the next moulding cycle.

Application

PARTALL® Coverall Film Violet is supplied ready to use and must not be diluted. It can be applied using a spray gun, brush or sponge. The violet colour makes it easy to monitor coverage during application. After drying, it forms a continuous release film.

For silicone moulds, the combination with Semiperm™ Monofilm is recommended. Together they create a reliable barrier layer, allowing epoxy resin casting while significantly extending the service life of the silicone mould.

After demoulding, the release film can be washed off easily with water and should be reapplied before each subsequent moulding process.
