Delrin® Pressure Roller (cylindrical/ for RTM)
Robust Delrin® consolidation roller for compacting and deaerating fibre reinforcements. The smooth cylindrical roller is particularly suitable for evenly pressing fabrics and non-crimp fabrics into place, as well as for mould making and RTM applications.
The R&G Delrin® consolidation roller helps distribute the resin evenly and presses the fibre reinforcement against the mould surface in a controlled manner. Entrapped air can be worked out of the laminate, improving impregnation and helping to achieve a uniform, low-void laminate structure.
The smooth cylindrical roller applies pressure evenly across the surface. It is particularly suitable for flat and slightly curved areas and for pressing reinforcement materials into moulds.
Delrin® features a hard, wear-resistant surface with good release properties. Cured resin residues can therefore usually be removed from the roller relatively easily.
